What We Handle

Below are the employment-based matters we handle, grouped by type. If you're not sure which one applies to you, schedule a consultation and we'll help you figure it out.

Investors & Business

Immigration built around a business you own, run, or are being transferred to.

How We Help

Employment-based cases almost always involve more than one person on the client side — you, and often your employer, sometimes working through the same case together. Whatever the specific visa category or green card path, our role stays the same: we start with a consultation to understand the position and the people involved, we put an engagement agreement in writing before any work begins, and we prepare the petition, application, or supporting filings the case calls for. Once something is filed, we manage the government side of the case — responding to any requests for more information — and we keep both you and your employer informed as things move along, including during the stretches where there simply isn’t news yet to share.

A lot of these categories connect to each other over time. A temporary work visa today can be a step toward an employment-based green card down the road, and we’re glad to help you think about that longer path, not just the filing directly in front of you.

What to Expect Working With Us

Employer-sponsored cases can feel like they involve a lot of parties and a lot of paperwork, and we try to make that easier to manage rather than harder. We explain what each document is for and why we’re asking for it, we coordinate directly with HR or company contacts so you’re not stuck relaying messages back and forth, and we’re reachable if something changes on your end — a new role, a change in timeline, anything. Consultations and case communication are available in English and Spanish.

Business & Visitor Travel

We also handle B-1 business-visitor matters as part of this practice area — short-term business trips that don't call for a long-term visa category. It's a smaller part of our employment-based work, so there isn't a dedicated page for it yet; reach out and we can talk through whether it fits your situation.
